Paris, 9 January 2024 – Atlante, the company of NHOA Group (NHOA.PA, formerly Engie EPS) dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) fast and ultra-fast charging network, and Riester Group, leading French car dealer for Stellantis (STLA) vehicles with over 20 dealerships, will inaugurate on January 11 a new fastcharging station at the Riester’s historic flagship dealership in Coulommiers, Seine-et-Marne.
The inauguration will take place during the Open Days of Coulommiers dealership which will allow more than 500 people to discover the new Citroën Oli and Peugeot E-3008. The event will couple the newest EV models from Stellantis with Atlante cutting-edge fastcharging technology, allowing EV drivers and prospects to see and experience first-hand the future of mobility.
Located in the Riester Group’s historic flagship dealership at 6 Boulevard de la Marne in Coulommiers in the Seine-et-Marne region (77), the station includes 4 ultra-fastcharging points of up to 150kW each, allowing EV drivers to fully charge their vehicles in around 30 minutes. Moreover, all chargers are equipped for credit card payments to make the experience even easier and faster. Atlante’s competitive price is currently set at €0.52 per kWh[1], including VAT. The station can be easily found on all main e-mobility apps, is compatible with all charging standards and EV models, accessible to people with reduced mobility and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The inauguration of this new station, which is conceived to provide an effortless user experience and make EV drivers’ life easier, will mark a new stage in the partnership signed in February 2023 between Riester Group and Atlante. To date, this project has led to the deployment of fastcharging stations in 3 iconic Riester dealerships (Coulommiers, Provins and Beauvais).
The partnership between Riester and Atlante is also part of the wider collaboration between Atlante and Stellantis Group, one of the world’s leading automakers and a mobility provider, throughout Southern Europe to provide innovative fast-charging solutions to leading car dealerships distributing the Group’s vehicles.
Atlante and Riester share a common customer-driven approach in making life easier for drivers, putting clients, innovation and sustainability at the very center. Riester Group, with over 95 years of experience in the automotive industry, has acquired unique know-how and recognized expertise across the Seine-et-Marne, Aisne, Marne, Aube and, more recently, Oise regions. True to its motto “Our priority is you“, the Group has always placed the customer experience at the heart of its priorities, providing them with top-quality products and services. As new technologies have become available, and the use of electric vehicles has grown, the Riester Group has made sure to provide its customers with the best fastcharging solutions, thus selecting Atlante as their fastcharging partner.
“Customer satisfaction and loyalty are at the heart of our commitments. Our partnership with Atlante enables us to offer Riester dealership customers the best possible fast and ultra-fast charging experience“, said Nicolas Bouyer, CEO of the Riester Group.
“This inauguration in the historic dealership of Riester, a French family group that is almost a hundred years old, marks a new achievement for Atlante, a symbol of its ambition. All our partners share our long-term vision and are committed to working with us to make a complete transition to e-mobility in Southern Europe, and particularly in France. The real issue in the deployment of fast and ultra-fast charging stations will soon be the territorial networking of all these charging points to avoid unnecessary concentrations. That’s why partnerships with leaders like Riester are fundamental to ensuring the competitiveness of our network in a particularly competitive sector in France“, said Jacques Galvani, CEO of Atlante France.
Atlante is developing the largest fast and ultra-fast charging network in Southern Europe, 100% enabled by renewables, with the target of installing in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal 5,000 fast and ultra-fast points of charge by 2025, and over 35,000 by 2030. Since its creation in 2021, the company reached over 1,850 points of charge online in Southern Europe, of which nearly 300 in France. For the development of its fastcharging network, Atlante focuses on both public and private partnerships, such as the agreement with Riester and others with major players such as Klépierre, Groupe Duval, Vinci Autoroutes and Emil Frey.
Atlante is playing an active role in the transition towards a zero-emission mobility in Southern Europe, backed by the technological heritage of NHOA Group. The deployment of the Atlante network will significantly benefit from the €250 million funds raised by NHOA Group during the recent capital increase, the €73 million by the European Union within the “Connecting Europe Facility” (CEF) program, and the €20 million by Groupe Caisse des Dépôts.
