Diversity and Inclusion-Driven Education Initiatives
The NHOA Ski Team is more than a ski club; it’s an educational project aiming to be a national model for clubs nurturing youth in excellence, balance, and inclusion. With dedicated staff and advanced psycho-physical training, it equips athletes with the best technical skills and the tools to approach competition and life with the right balance.
ASD Karate Sport Center fosters holistic development through karate, promoting physical fitness, mental resilience, and ethical conduct. Through rigorous training and adherence to core values such as discipline and respect, it empowers individuals to excel both on and off the mat.
Real Eyes Sport is a non-profit founded by Daniele Cassioli, a world and European water skiing champion and ambassador of our D&I Program. They promote and support sports and social activities to empower blind and visually impaired children to independently engage in sports.
NHOA supports the Girls@Polimi project at Politecnico di Milano by funding a three-year scholarship. This project, part of the Polytechnic Equal Opportunities (POP) initiatives, aims to overcome the gender gap in STEM and ensure an inclusive environment that respects gender identity, disability, and culture.
Give Back To Communities Initiatives
In Italy, since 1995, the Foundation brings moments of joy and playfulness to the hospitalised children, taking care of their “healthy” side, with the special visits of Dottor Sogni, professional artists, commissioned and specifically trained to work in high complexity pediatric wards.
NHOA supports Magari Domani Società Cooperativa ONLUS, founded in 2008 to help people with disabilities become capable adults. With support from Ciemme Cablaggi SRL, a supplier of the NHOA Group, they engage in work activities that integrate them into local production chains, offering tasks suited to their abilities and promoting autonomy in their adult lives.
AVIS is a private, non-profit organization that pursues a public interest goal: ensuring the availability of blood and its components for all patients in need. AVIS carries out its mission through the promotion of donation, the call to donors, and in some cases, the direct collection of blood in agreement with public hospital structures.
Since 1979, CAF has cared for over 1,000 abused and mistreated children, aiming to break the cycle of pain. They achieve this through psycho-educational interventions, supporting families in crisis, and promoting foster care for children who can’t return to their biological families.
At NHOA Group, we are committed to upholding the principles of good governance and responsible business practices as the cornerstone of our operations. We firmly believe that ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability are not only integral to our success but also vital for the well-being of our stakeholders and the communities we serve. Our comprehensive list of policies reflects our dedication to these values, outlining our unwavering commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, diversity and inclusion, and ethical business conduct. Most of the companies within the Group are included in the scope of the ISO 14001 certification, demonstrating our adherence to internationally recognized environmental management standards. Those that are not yet within the certification perimeter still operate in alignment with NHOA’s environmental management system, ensuring consistent application of our sustainability principles across the Group. These policies serve as a testament to our mission to operate with integrity and to contribute positively to society.
