Paris, 12 November 2024 – Atlante, the company of NHOA Group dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) fast and ultra-fast charging network, will participate in the 19th edition of EVER Monaco show on November 13 and 14, 2024, at the Grimaldi Forum. On this occasion Atlante will join forces with three major electric vehicle user associations from GEVA (Global Alliance of EV Drivers’ Associations) – FFAUVE (French Federation of Electric Vehicle User Associations), UVE (Association of Electric Vehicle Users) in Portugal, and AUVE (Association of Electric Vehicle Users) in Spain – to advocate for sustainable mobility across Europe. These associations, members of the GEVA alliance, bringing together 64 organizations worldwide, represent the interests of over two million electric vehicle drivers.
The EVER Monaco exhibition, the largest event dedicated to sustainable mobility and renewable energy in the Principality, highlights technologies related to future transport and energy solutions, encompassing land, maritime, and aerial sectors. This year it will expand its program and will be running at the same time as the AVERE E-Mobility Conference (AEC), organized by the European Association for Electromobility. Stefano Terranova, CEO of Atlante, will participate in a session titled “How to Make Electromobility a European Industrial Success?” on Wednesday, November 13, as part of the AVERE E-Mobility Conference.
On Thursday, November 14, Jacques Galvani, CEO of Atlante France, will participate in the EVER Monaco show program contributing to a roundtable discussion on “Optimizing the Deployment of Charging Infrastructure and Its Interaction with Renewable Energies,” within the broader context of electric mobility in Europe.
From an environmental perspective, Atlante and the associations support the decarbonization of transport, in line with the European Parliament and Commission’s decision to mandate the sale of new electric vehicles starting in 2035, a key element of the European Union’s strategy to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
“Atlante is committed to addressing the complex global challenges at the intersection of energy, technology, and industrial transition. In just 3 years we have grown Atlante into a leading player in Southern Europe with thousands of fastchargers across our four countries: we are living proof that we can make the transition to zero-emission driving a success. As we move into democratization of electric mobility, it is crucial that our initiatives align with customer needs, which is why we prioritize collaboration with industry partners and EV driver associations. By fostering synergies and mutual exchange, we strive to enhance the customer experience and establish electric mobility as the norm for millions of Europeans,” said Stefano Terranova, CEO of Atlante.
“At the EVS 35 in Oslo in June 2022, our paths crossed with Atlante, and we were impressed by its ambition to meet the expectations of electro-mobilists in France. At the same time, other associations from the GEVA network engaged in discussions with Atlante to extend this initiative to Southern Europe. Our joint presence in Monaco celebrates this fruitful collaboration,” commented Stéphane Sémeria, Board member of FFAUVE and GEVA.
“The growth of electric mobility in Portugal depends on building trust with accessible and reliable charging infrastructure. Our partnership with Atlante is an important step in making e-mobility more accessible to all,” said Pedro Faria, Director of UVE.
“AUVE’s partnership with Atlante marks a significant milestone in advancing electric mobility across Southern Europe. By combining our deep understanding of Spanish EV users’ needs with Atlante’s rapidly expanding fast-charging network, we’re enhancing the EV experience. This collaboration is crucial in advocating for improved charging solutions and accelerating the transition to sustainable transportation, making electric mobility more accessible and convenient for users throughout Spain and beyond,” highlighted Néstor Lázaro, International Director of AUVE.
The rise of electric vehicles in Europe is accompanied by rapid development of charging infrastructure, tailored to new uses, allowing users to travel freely. Atlante, FFAUVE, UVE, and AUVE are committed to making electric mobility accessible to the widest audience possible, facilitating the development of public fastcharging network in Southern Europe.
