Atlante enhances its European footprint with two subsidiaries in France and Spain

Milan 8 April 2022 – Atlante, the Global Business Line of NHOA Group (NHOA.PA, formerly Engie EPS) dedicated to electric vehicle fast and ultra-fast charging infrastructure, announces the set-up of its subsidiaries in France and Spain. The newly appointed CEOs and their teams will boost Atlante network development in France, Spain and Portugal.

Atlante France will be led by Country CEO Jacques Galvani who brings to Atlante a wealth of experience and tons of positive energy. Previous positions held by Jacques include Partner of innovation Lab Schoolab, Executive director of REIT Altarea as well as Deputy CEO of Casino Development where he contributed to the creation of solar energy player GreenYellow. From January 2022, Jacques had been helping Atlante as Senior Advisor, assembling a team of amazing talents, opening the new French head office in Paris and developing an outpost at Nice-Sophia Antipolis technology park. “I am delighted to join the exceptionally talented teams of NHOA, Free2move eSolutions and Atlante to contribute to the energy transition of Southern Europe by developing the best fast-charger network. Atlante is the only industrial player combining ultra-fast charging, energy storage, photovoltaic production, and grid management technologies – bringing something truly distinctive to the market” commented Atlante France’s CEO Jacques Galvani.

Atlante Iberia will be led by Giovanni Ravina who takes up the role of Country CEO, covering Spain and Portugal. Giovanni will continue to hold the roles of Chief Innovation Officer for NHOA and Board Member at Free2move eSolutions and to support key transversal activities for Atlante as Head of Green Energy. He has set up the head office in Barcelona, with Madrid and Lisbon to follow, while recruiting a great local team. “It’s a pleasure for me to lead Atlante’s efforts in Iberia, markets with strong growth potential and crucial for us to become leader in Southern Europe. My key focus is on the execution of our ambitious plan in these geographies, while I consider an honour to keep supporting NHOA Group companies and their CEOs on Innovation topics” commented Atlante Iberia’s CEO Giovanni Ravina.

Atlante aims to install in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal 5,000 fast and ultra-fastchargers by 2025, and over 35,000 by 2030, combining vehicle-grid-integrated fastcharging technology with renewables and energy storage”.
